Analysis of the effectiveness of sphenopalatine ganglion block on fentanyl needs in endoscopic endonasal surgery as measured by qNOX score

Introduction: Endoscopic endonasal is one of the technological advances used as a supporting examination for diagnosis and therapy. This procedure often to evaluate medical problems nose sinuses, such functional endoscopic sinus surgery or FESS (functional surgery), turbinoplasty, septoplasty. Surgery can be difficult manage because there bleeding due large supply blood vessels in area. study aimed investigate differences qNOX scores fentanyl requirement patients undergoing with sphenopalatine ganglion block. Methods: The total sample was 18 patients, each treatment 9 patients. Patients were divided into two groups: group 1 who received block 0.75% ropivacaine 2 did not receive selection groups done randomly (simple random) using lottery numbers single blind.
